Hello to all my MA fans and friends. So I have been MIA for a lil while now. I want to thank everyone for not forgetting about me. Thanks for all the comments and messages. I have been MIA b/c partially of my job. See I work in the IT field. I try not to spend time on the site b/c technically I am not supposed to be on it while I am at work. So when I get home I dont wanna look at the computer. On top of that I was working on opening up my own school. Well boys and girl through the blessings of God I have opened my own Illusion Karate Academy school. Yes I have my own site, I am the only instructor at this site for now and all of my students are white belts. My opening day was Feb 02, 2009 I started with 8 students on that day. From there I began obtain 1 - 2 students and week. Now I am up to about 15 students. I have not even started to do any advertising. My student come by word of mouth. Which is the best form of advertising! I dont mean to brag but my students are freakin awesome they are learning quickly. They learn so quickly that I have to literally stop myself from teaching certain things. I try not to smile too much but sometimes I cannot help it. They are makings me so proud. One day I guess the stars were not aligned properly but they were not looking good, they were movn slow and not soundn loud. I made them sit in their horse stances for the entire class. Literally. I have been thinking alot about todays MMA and how fast it has grown. I then began to think of the legendary Bruce Lee. Do you see where I am going? The question: How would Bruce Lee compare against todays MMA? I can talk about this all day so I will let you start first. holla @cha boi, Pharard

Ok so I have been following my dude for a few months now. Yall should know him by now. His name is Kimbo Slice. Straight from the streets of Miami, Fl. He is probably one of the hottest internet fighters out right now. His popularity sprouted up through the use of the internet with over millions of people downloading his street fights. His record in Street Fights : 7-1, Career MMA : 2-0. He Career fight has actually moved to 3-0 b/c he just faught Tank Abott. So I have been a black belt for about 4 yrs now. I have my own school with over 75 students. Yesterday I had to cancel class, so I decided to got the my athletic club and practice with another school that I am affiliate with. All I can say is ouch.... See I have been teaching for so long I forgot what it is like to actually train and be a student in the class. We did 150 jumping jack, 100 push ups, 30 leg lift. Then we started to practice. But we did not kick or anything. We did sit in a horse stance for about 8min. Sat in a front leaning stance for about 5min on each leg. Then we did reverse punches for 10min. I tell you now ouch... Class was not as long as I would have like for it to be but I am kool. Tell me what does your practice session consist of? pharard,
Well, well, well... It seems as if we have an outstanding fight between two of the worlds greatest fighters. I can start off by saying that this is going to be a good and hard fight for both competitors. If either one of them under estimate the other they are going to lose bigtime. Joe is a good fighter tough, quick, and will knock you the hell out. He actually shocked me when he knocked out Melvin in the first round like BAM. Melvin I thought was gonna demolish Joe as he spit all that fire and got knocked out. Now on to BJ Penn who is pound for pound one of the best hitters around. He hits hard and his agility is crazy. For some reason his legs are flexible, which is not that normal out of UFC fighters. This makes it hard to take him down. I think his greatest asset is ability to perfect that arm bar. Ok so I was watching TV in the barber shop when I saw a commercial come on about an unknown street fighter making his way through the ranks. I then asked around and found that this guy is a straight knockout. They say most of his fights last no longer then 2-3 min. Mostly ending in knockouts. His name Kimbo Slice. Watch as he goes from neighborhoods, parking lots, air strips and just about any where knocking kats out. I mean to the fullest. Kimbo Fights

I believe that he is a good fighter but his cardio is his weakness. A smart fighter could win easily win against him (as long as he does not get hit.) From what I can tell he has made his way to the MMA showtime. I would like to see Kimbo and Rampage go at it big time.
